Our Profile
Founded in 1984, AI Industries is a family owned structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication company located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. AI Industries started out in the local and provincial markets, fabricating structural and miscellaneous steel. The company primarily focused on medium size projects such as shopping mall renovations, schools and mid size office and multi purpose buildings.
Now, the majority of AI Industries’ fabrication is done for both the United States and Canadian markets. With over 40,000 square feet of fabrication space, over 4.4 acres of land and over 2,800 man-hours available each week with 100+ employees, AI Industries is the largest commercial structural steel fabricator in British Columbia. AI Industries can tackle both small and large-scale projects. AI Industries is proud to have been featured in the August 2016 metal fabrication news magazine ‘Canadian Fabricating & Welding’

Raw Material Storage and Sawing Area
The approximate 100,000 square feet of the Raw Material Storage Area is serviced by two 10-ton hoists located on a large Overhead Gantry Crane. The Raw Material Yard is services by Three (3) Band Saw that can cut steel up to 50 inches deep and Two (2) state of the art Peddinghaus High Speed Drills that can handle steel up to 1000 pounds per foot. It is also home to our Peddinghaus Automated Angle Line.
